Please do your part and remind your neighbours to remove attractants. We love having healthy bears live around us and want to prevent human-wildlife conflicts as much as we can. Be wildlife aware as you hike or bike and carry bear spray if you are on a trail 🐻

Whether you're commuting to school, work or around the neighbourhood, your bicycle is an important investment.

The RDCO supports the 529 Garage program, which helps cyclists register their bikes and provides useful tools to help prevent theft. Registering your bike makes it easier to prove ownership and supports recovery efforts if it is stolen.

Before the school year gets busy, take a few minutes to register and help protect your ride. https://project529.com/garage/organizations/kelownarcmp/landing

🚸 Back-to-school season is here!

School zones are filling up again. This means our Speed Watch volunteers will be out in full force, increasing awareness of road safety.

More children are walking, biking and crossing roads. Slow down, stay alert and watch for pedestrians in school zones.

🛑Every kilometre per hour matters when it comes to keeping kids safe.
