Attention pet parents!

With the Okanagan beginning to heat up, let's keep our furry friends safe and cool at home - not in hot vehicles.

Even in the shade with the windows cracked, temperatures inside a vehicle can rapidly reach a level high enough to seriously harm or kill a pet. Under our Responsible Dog Ownership bylaw, you could be fined $500 for leaving a dog in an enclosed vehicle.
