Piers-Partners in Resources Piers-Partners in Resources Piers identifies that our clients face various challenges in achieving their goals.

Piers believes that, as an organization, we have a responsibility to ensure that community members have access to the resources, services, and opportunities that they require to increase independence and ultimately achieve success in their lives. In response to this, we have developed our programs and services to address needs such as: employment services, housing placement and support, community

attachment services, and life skills coaching. Our Programs and Services include:

Specialized Community Assistance Program (S.C.A.P.) The SCAP progrma is funded by BC's Ministry of Social Development. SCAP participants are part of the Homelessness Intervention Project. This project involves a myriad of community partnerships and is intended to assist multi-barriered participants who are chronically homeless to maintain long term housing, through the provision of the life skills and employment services. Please contact our local Piers office to find out about program eligibility and availability

Third Party Administration of Benefits Program
On behalf of the Ministry of Social Development, Piers provides Third Party Administration of Benefits in Kelowna and Penticton. This program provides conflict resolution, life skills, employment coaching, administration of benefits and advocacy services to clients in an effort to assist individuals in positively managing their personal and professional life. Individuals participating in this program are referred to Piers from MSD. WorkBC Kelowna/WorkBC Penticton
Piers is pleased to embark on new partnerships with the YMCA-YWCA Okanagan and Maximus Canada to deliver employment services within the MAXIMUS Canada WorksBC Employment Service Canada in Kelowna and within the YMCA-YWCA Okanagan WorkBC Employment Service Centre in Penticton. Piers provides specialized one-on-one and group life skills and employment services to community members accessing the centres. PLEASE NOTE:
