A new Sewflakes Quilter has donated 8 lap quilts for evacuees.
A big thank you goes out to Janet Bailey who has recently moved back to Kelowna after 27 years in Calgary.

This quilt was donated to the Cancer Lodge by out talented Sewflakes Quilting group and will be used for a raffle in October.

36 quilts and 12 pillow slips donated today by the Rutland Senior Centre Sewflakes Quilters to the Kaigo Senior Living Group.
Way to go Ladies!

Ian Stewart will be playing at the Centre tonight, Saturday August 1st from 7-9:30. Doors open at 6:30. $10 for members and $15 for non-members (cash only) Coffee, tea and fresh baked cookies served at intermission. Hope to see you there!

More donation quilts made by a very prolific Sewflake! Well done Margaret!

Our lovely Ladies from the Sewflakes Quilters group who meet twice a week and as well as working on their own quilts they also make them for donations. So far this year they have donated 86 Quilts to various charities in Kelowna. That adds up to thousands of hours of work donated by the Quilters. 4 of the Ladies here are shown wearing aprons made for the volunteers that work in the kitchen concession on Bingo days.
