Rural Municipality of Cote #271

There is a long list of roads closed in the RM of Cote - we are going to try to compile the list here for you. Please be careful when travelling on grid roads after a major rain fall. We try to look for all of the road hazards, but water changes everything so fast, and due care and attention keeps everyone safe.
Division 1:
Mylor Road closed (water over the road at North Pine Creek and the culverts west of the Togo Cemetery)
RngRd 1305 closed from Hwy 357 at the bottom of pine creek and the hill up to the Mylor School Cairn.
Dangerous Hazzard at RngRd 1303 (at Rezansoff's driveway)
Division 2:
The low level bridge on Rng Rd 1314 that crosses the Assiniboine River is closed.
Division 3:
Nothing so far
Division 4:
Runnymede north passed the transfer station (dump) to the T intersection closed.
Izzard Road to Memorial Road closed.
Division 5:
Bearstream closed - no thru traffic - major washout
TwpRd 305 from Bearstream to Prairie Queen is closed.
Division 6:
Nothing so far

The "bypass", RM of Cote #271 road south and west of Kamsack is now open.

Hwy 357 is closed at Hwy 8. Detour is set up on Poplar Point Rd and Rng Rd 313.

There are MANY roads closed due to water over the road or complete washouts. BE VERY CAREFUL travelling down dirt roads right now, undermining and cave-ins can happen without any surface indicators.

If you see water over the road, and there isn't a flag or barricade, report it to the councillor, and turn around. DO NOT take the risk of driving over water. We are all working diligently to get road hazards marked for everyone's safety.
