End-of-School-Year Basketball Night

QHS is hosting an End-of-School-Year Basketball Night for youth ages 8–18.

Join us for an evening of basketball, connection, and fun as we celebrate the end of another school year.

📍 Sk’elep School Gym (365 Powwow Trail)

Advance registration is preferred, but registration will also be available at the gym beginning at 6:00 PM. Snacks and drinks will be provided, and all youth are welcome.

As Pelltspéntsk (June) greets us with warmer weather as well as fruitful and floral-like reminders that our most active and productive season for our Tk̓emlúpsemc Community has finally arrived, we are excited to share the details regarding this year's upcoming 2026 S7elkst.s re Tutwíwt ne Sexqél̓qeltemc (Youth Summer Work Experience)! Beginning July 6th, 2026, FOUR unique Tk̓emlúpsemc Youth will hold the opportunity to not only acquire workplace training, certification and experience, but to also get involved and learn about our Secwépemc language, culture and community in celebratory and meaningful manners.

If you are a Tk̓emlúpsemc (TteS Member) Youth aged 15-30, seeking to build one's resume, enjoy knowledge sharing, and would like to earn a quality pay cheque (cumulated of $20.00 an hour), we highly encourage you to apply!

Applications are open until June 30th, 2026.

This gathering will share general information on what human trafficking is, common warning signs, how social media can play a role in recruitment, and what supports and resources are available locally.
