Another week, another ! ⭐️

This week, we’d like to introduce you to some of our Maintenance team (posing here with some of their favourite gadgets/vehicles you might see them driving during your visit)! 🔨🛻 Our Maintenance Park Rangers and Manual Workers keep the park and its trails clean and well-kept so that they are accessible for all.

Some of their daily tasks include maintaining our ski trails (Nolan’s favourite job!) and turning over campsites between bookings so that they are nice and tidy for incoming campers (Piers’ favourite job!).

They get to see a LOT of the park, and Griffin recommends you check out the viewing pods off of our Boardwalk Trail—they’re his favourite spots in the whole park! 🧭

They also see ALL of the wildlife in the park. Deagan’s favourite critter is the spruce bud worm and Silas’ is the tarsier (which you might have some trouble finding in the park). 🐛🐒

On your next visit, be sure to give them a wave and a smile! 👋

It’s that time of the week! This , we’d like to introduce you to Tyler (left) and Taryn (right), two members of our amazing Maintenance team here at Kakabeka Falls!

This is Tyler’s fifth season as a Manual Worker at Kakabeka Falls, and this is Taryn’s second season as a Maintenance Park Ranger. From trimming grass to cleaning campsites to maintaining trails, this dynamic duo works hard to keep the park clean and safe for visitors. The beauty of Kakabeka Falls is preserved thanks to their dedication and keen attention to detail. 🧹🧼🔨

Tyler and Taryn can be found out and about in the park, along with the rest of our Maintenance team, so they often get the opportunity to spot the wildlife that call Kakabeka Falls home. We just had to ask: if you could be any animal, what animal would you be? Tyler would be a rabbit, while Taryn says she would be a German Shepherd. 🐰🐶

Be sure to give Tyler and Taryn a wave next time you see them out in the park! 👋

Happy ! 🌟

This week, we’d like you to meet Abby, one of our fantastic Gate Attendants at Kakabeka Falls. She can be found at the Park Office with a smile on her face and an answer to any and all of your questions! 👍🙋‍♀️

This is Abby’s first year working at Kakabeka Falls. Her favourite part of her job is teaching people about the history of the park and answering their questions about the Ontario Parks system. An avid camper, she has plenty of recommendations as to where to visit after your trip to Kakabeka Falls—she’s most excited to check out Pancake Bay and Neys this summer! 🏕️☀️
