On June 15th from 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM, Nathan Thompson, Community Services Officer with the Akwesasne Police Service, will share information on recognizing the signs of elder abuse and how we can better support our elders.

A free catered breakfast will also take place earlier in the day at the Golden Age Club from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM for elders and their families. Elders are welcome to attend on their own or with loved ones.

This week is Disabilities Awareness Week!

In the RHS 2025, adults in Kahnawà:ke said they had difficulties at least sometimes with the mobility and endurance related activities shown in the graphic below.
