The library is looking for gift bags for organizing our auction items. If you have a collection that needs weeding, feel free to drop some off at the library any time (the bags fit nicely through our book return slot!)
All sizes and styles are gratefully accepted 💕 🎄 🎁

October is breast cancer awareness month, and the library's team in the Canadian Cancer Society's October Reading Challenge has reached the halfway point of the challenge! There's still time to donate to support cancer research:

Not sure if you are emotionally ready for the next book in your TBR pile? Or even just the next chapter in a book you are already invested in?
How Sad is This Chapter will let the experience of others be your guide to how emotionally stable you need to be to tackle the next few pages.

Find out how emotionally devastating a chapter is before you read it.

The security update should kick in October 1st. Contact us if you need your library card/patron number or have any issues logging into Libby.

This October, we’re putting our reading habits to good use with Shelf Care, our team for the Canadian Cancer Society’s October Reading Challenge. 📚💛

The challenge is simple: read every day in October, raise funds, and help support cancer research and services. Basically, it’s permission to make “just one more chapter” part of your daily routine.

Join the Shelf Care team and read along with us, or support the team with a donation.

Because sometimes a little Shelf Care can go a long way.
