We are honoured to host Johnathan Morin this Thursday at 5pm for a screening of 'Restorative Culture' followed by a live performance, Q&A and a dance workshop free for our community to attend!

📽 The Restorative Culture documentary explores identity and belonging. It focuses on Tap Dancer, Johnathan Morin, raised in foster care, on a journey of self discovery as he balances his love for the African American art form, Tap, with his yearning to know his family’s Indigenous Nehiyaw heritage. In pursuit of his people’s knowledge of music, dance, teachings and community, Johnathan’s world is rocked as he is asked to make a big sacrifice.

Age Advisory: Recommended for ages 16+. Contains discussion of residential schools, colonization, abuse, and intergenerational trauma.

Why, in physics, did we move from thinking of space and time separately to thinking of them as a single entity, spacetime?

Does the fact that we formalize our best theories of matter and gravity using spacetime, rather than space and time separately, commit us to thinking that the past and future are just as "real" as the present?

Join Jake tomorrow evening in a discussion of his research in the Philosophy of Physics!
