During last night’s Council meeting, Mayor Tory Delaurier and members of Council were honoured to recognize Kim Price as the Town of Iroquois Falls’ 2026 Senior of the Year. Joining in the presentation was Carole Decaire, last year’s recipient, whose continued dedication to our community is equally appreciated.

Kim has devoted countless hours to enriching the lives of seniors in our community through her compassion, generosity, and volunteer spirit. Among her many contributions is her involvement with the Iroquois Falls Museum, where she helps preserve and share the stories that connect generations. We would also like to recognize the dedicated volunteers at the Museum who work tirelessly to celebrate and protect our local history.

As June is Seniors Month in Ontario, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the seniors in our community. Your wisdom, experience, volunteerism, and lifelong contributions help shape the vibrant and caring community we are proud to call home.

Please join us in congratulating Kim Price on this well-deserved recognition!
