Gwich’in Tribal Council is seeking qualified clinical professionals, organizations, or interprofessional teams to provide clinical consultation, education, and services that support early childhood development and strengthen the capacity of families, caregivers, and early learning educators.

The RFP is seeking expertise in the following areas:

• Occupational Therapy (OT)
• Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
• Assessments
• Counselling

Proposal submissions are due by October 1, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. MST.

Congratulations to all of the paddlers who completed the 2026 “We Are United As One” Annual Canoe Trip! 🛶

It has been wonderful to see the support, encouragement, and positive comments surrounding the journey. The trip was a great example of community, culture, determination, and people coming together in a meaningful way.

Thank you to the Hotıì ts'eeda Research Support Unit and the Gwich’in Land Use Planning Board for their sponsorship of the event.

Grand Chief Frederick Blake Jr. would also like to extend his personal thanks and appreciation to the coordinating teams, the paddlers, the safety boat operators, and GTC staff.

In Loving Memory of Neil Snowshoe

On behalf of Grand Chief Frederick Blake Jr., the Board of Directors, and staff of the Gwich’in Tribal Council, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of the late Neil Snowshoe of Teetl’it Zheh.

Our thoughts are with Neil’s family and the community during this difficult time as they gather to honour his life, memory, and journey home.
