Thank you, MPP Nolan Quinn!

We were delighted to welcome Stormont, Dundas, and South Glengarry MPP, Nolan Quinn, as he joined Carefor Health & Community Services South Stormont Support Centre volunteers, Sheila and Pierre Charron, for a Meals on Wheels delivery to clients in the South Stormont community.

Meals on Wheels is about so much more than delivering a nutritious meal — it’s about connection, compassion, and making sure our clients know their community is there for them.

A special thank you to Sheila and Pierre for the time and care they give as dedicated volunteers, and to MPP Quinn for taking the time to experience firsthand the impact of this important community program.

🌱 Got extra veggies? Share the harvest with your neighbours!

Join the Environmental Action Committee for the first-ever Ingleside Community Garden Produce Exchange Night on Thursday, August 20, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Maple Street Park.

Bring your extra garden produce, herbs, or flowers to swap with others and help support the House of Lazarus Food Bank with any surplus donations.

No garden? No problem! Everyone is welcome to stop by, explore the Ingleside Community Garden, connect with neighbours, and take home some fresh local produce.

Let's grow community together and make this the first of many harvest exchanges in South Stormont. 🍅🌶️🥒
