Looking for a place to escape the heat this week? In addition to Middlesex County Library branches, the Komoka Wellness Centre is available as a Cooling Centre during operating hours.

Middlesex Centre splash pads at Ilderton Heritage Park, Kilworth Westbrook Park, and the Komoka Wellness Centre are also open daily from 9:00am to 9:00pm. Adult supervision is required.

🌳 Great news for Medway Creek!

Middlesex Centre has received $59,600 from the Ontario Community Environment Fund (Environment Ontario) to support the Enhancing Medway Creek Through Community Tree Planting project.

Working with the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority and Friends of Medway Creek, the project will plant 1,800 native trees, improve wildlife habitat and water quality, and create hands-on opportunities for residents, students and volunteers to help protect our local environment.

Tree planting begins this fall. Stay tuned for volunteer opportunities!
