Based out of Station 5 in Port Sydney, the Association works alongside the municipal fire service to enhance local emergency response by fundraising for specialized equipment and tools, service related clothing and personal protective equipment (PPE) that may go beyond the regular operating budget of the Town. Through events such as golf tournaments, pancake breakfasts, garage sale and carwash fundraisers, the Association has helped provide important resources like an off-road rescue vehicle, vehicle extrication tools, and improved safety for residents and visitors alike. Rooted in service, teamwork, and community spirit, the Port Sydney Firefighters Association is committed to protecting lives, supporting local initiatives, and making Utterson and Port Sydney a safer place to live, work, and play.
