Improving Outcomes, Together

During EMS Week, we recognize the dedicated people of Humboldt & District Ambulance - EMS —those who show up day and night when someone’s worst moment becomes their most critical need for care.

Every EMS clinician carries one call with them forever—not for its heroism, but for its humanity. A child whose breathing finally stabilized. A grandmother whose hand was held until her family arrived. A stranger who, despite fear and pain in their eyes, chose to trust them in a moment of uncertainty.

These moments seldom make headlines, yet they shape outcomes in ways that statistics alone cannot capture. They are the reason people return home, families remain united, and communities feel safer knowing help is never far away.

This EMS Week, we recognize that improving outcomes is never done alone. It happens through teamwork, trust, training, and compassion—together.

Road Report…….. Hwy 5 and Hwy 2.
Slushy Hwys and Deteriorating driving conditions. Extremely slippery. Reduce speeds when traveling. Slush on roadways will pull you into other lane if attempting to pass.

We have the privilege of working alongside some amazing nurses here in Humboldt & surrounding areas, their hard work often going unnoticed. We just want to say we see you and thank you for all you do! Happy Nurses Week!

03.05.26 0800 UPDATE. Hwy 5 at Muenster is still open. Muenster FD monitoring situation.
Hwy 20 South of Burr water is over the road. Hwy is intact, well marked. Drive slow. RM monitoring.

02.05.26. 20:35 HEMS ROAD ALERT - We have been in communications with Emergency Services, City, RM & Dept. Of Hwys. We expect Hwy 5 on the east side of Muenster to wash out & be closed tonight. Hwy 368 intersection will be accessible & a detour will be well marked. Both entrances to Muenster will be accessible. Please follow signage & drive safe on gravel roads, please expect spring road conditions.
