The Como Lending Library is proud to feature this gorgeous book, which is available for perusal in the library and can be loaned out after Lesley Chesterman's visit on Tuesday, May 19th. The library is open Tuesdays and Saturdays, 10:20 am to 12:30 pm. This tribute to Montreal dining is highly recommended.

N'hésitez pas à apporter le titre d'un livre, récent ou à paraître, que vous avez hâte de lire. On aimerait bien l'ajouter à notre collection !

We held our first
“Pine Tree Café” this morning. It was attended by many of our wonderful patrons—it was lovely to relax and chat with them over delicious refreshments. We served, Gamache Coffee and Gamache Butter tarts, along with tea and cookies. We hope that at our next event, many more come to visit, borrow a book and enjoy the camaraderie.

Our idea for holding these Cafés came from Louise Penny’s Three Pines Café, which opened this year in Knowlton. Our Como Lending Library volunteers plan to visit her café soon and we are hopeful that she may visit ours in return.

Next date for The Pine Tree Café is Saturday, February 7th. The treats will be chocolate and the books displayed may be along the Romance genre!
