Water Service Update - Tonight's Planned Shut-Off

The Town of Holyrood will be conducting further water system investigation and leak detection work tonight.

Water service will be shut off throughout the entire Town from 8:00 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, September 2, until 5:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, Thursday, September 3.

Throughout the night, Town crews and contracted leak detection specialists will be working in various areas of the water system. Sections of the system will be isolated at different times to allow crews to investigate and identify areas where water loss may be occurring.

This work is an important part of our ongoing efforts to identify problem areas within the water distribution system and reduce water loss, while helping us better understand the condition of the system.

Water service is expected to resume following the completion of the overnight work, with crews continuing to monitor the system and assess the results.

We appreciate residents’ continued patience and understanding as we work through these challenges. Town staff and contractors continue to work around the clock to identify issues and improve the reliability of the Town’s water system.

Further updates will be provided as information becomes available.
