Last call for donations for our Annual Used Book Sale! The last day to donate is Friday, September 18. Please follow these guidelines when donating and visit our website for more information: https://www.egpl.ca/programs-events/annual-used-book-sale

✔️ Books must be in excellent, clean condition
✔️ Books should be recent or of vintage interest
✔️ A maximum of 2 boxes per visit is encouraged
✔️ We are accepting donations at all library branches during library open hours
✔️ Please bring donations to the front desk only; do not use outdoor book return bins or leave items in entryways
✔️ The Library is not accepting used textbooks, magazines, National Geographic, VHS tapes, or Reader’s Digest
✔️ If your donation exceeds two boxes, please contact the branch in advance so we can ensure adequate space and staffing, or consider spreading your donation across multiple visits

Yesterday was a beautiful day as we joined the Town of East Gwillimbury in celebration of the opening of the HALP Park! We celebrated learning, active living, and a deeper connection with nature. Guests enjoyed a lavender tea party in the Reading Garden, Plant Bingo in the Learning POD, and special characters who dropped by to say hi!

A very special thank you to all of our partners and volunteers who helped make the event so incredible, we couldn't have done it without you!

Join us for an engaging discussion on Inclusive Governance: Why Diverse Library Boards Matter with Ashley Shalmoni.

Drawing on her expertise in equity, diversity, and inclusion, as well as her experience serving on the board of the Niagara Sexual Assault Centre, Ashley will will focus on why there is a need for diversity on boards, why diverse voices should consider sitting on boards, and what participants can bring to their own boards to enhance diversity and inclusion.

Whether you're a current board member, considering board service, or interested in creating more inclusive communities, this workshop is for you.

Throughout the summer, Jason brought creativity, enthusiasm, and expertise to our Makerspace, leading a variety of engaging programs and sharing his knowledge with our community. We are so grateful for all of his contributions and the positive impact he has had on our spaces.
