We are pleased to announce a new leadership appointment for the upcoming school year. ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ฒ ๐
๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐ก๐๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐ง ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐ข๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐๐ข๐ฉ๐๐ฅ of Kinuso School, joining the schoolโs leadership team as Kinuso adds a Vice Principal position for the 2026โ27 school year. In addition to her leadership role, Mindy will teach part-time at the school.
Mindy has previous administrative experience, having served as Principal of Worsley Central School, a Kโ12 school. Her leadership roles have provided her with experience supporting students at all stages of their educational journey and a strong understanding of their academic, developmental, and social-emotional needs.
Mindy has also worked as an Inclusive Education Coach, supporting teachers and administrators across multiple grade levels and programs. Through this work, she developed extensive experience with inclusive practices, instructional leadership, data-informed decision-making, Response to Intervention, and supporting diverse learning needs.
Relationships, collaboration, and student success are central to Mindyโs approach to leadership. She values working closely with students, staff, families, and community partners to build positive school cultures where students feel safe, valued, supported, and able to succeed.
Having spent much of her career in rural education, Mindy brings an appreciation for the important connections that develop among rural schools. She looks forward to becoming part of the Kinuso School community and contributing her experience and passion for rural education to High Prairie School Division.
Mindy holds a Bachelor of Education โ Elementary from the University of Alberta through the Teacher Education North collaborative degree program.
