🦟 Mosquito Control Tip 🦟 Reducing or eliminating standing water is an effective and economical way to control mosquitoes. Check your yard for stagnant water in bird baths, flowerpots, and gutters. Let’s keep our community mosquito-free!

This is the pump room at the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) flooding from last night’s rain event. Overflowing like this should not be happening nor should clean water be coming into the system. This is a result of residents and/or businesses directing their sump pump water directly into the sewer system. The RM of Headingley has 2 separate systems. The low pressure sewer system which flows to the WWTP and the land drainage system which flows to the Assiniboine River.
