Kings Landing has been bringing history to life for more than 50 years and now is the time to experience it for yourself! Visit your local public library from June 5 – 13, to get your FREE pass to Kings Landing, which you can use to gain a one-time entrance to the attraction on any day from June 7 – 13.

Please note: only the west side of the village will be accessible during this time as Kings Landing undertakes essential infrastructure improvements.

It's that time of year again, we're having our big Used Book Sale! For the month of June, the upstairs of the library has been transformed into a cozy used bookstore! Come browse all the wonderful books that we have from all different genres.

There are no set prices, it is all by donation. Take what you like, give what you can.
All proceeds go directly to purchasing resources for our programs and new books for our shelves!

More books will be added to our sale throughout the month, so keep checking back in. We are also accepting donations of used book to add our sale so think of us if you're doing spring cleaning!

C'est à nouveau cette période de l'année : nous organisons notre grande vente de livres d'occasion ! Tout au long du mois de juin, l'étage de la bibliothèque s'est transformé en une chaleureuse librairie d'occasion ! Venez découvrir tous les merveilleux livres que nous proposons, dans tous les genres.

Il n'y a pas de prix fixes, tout fonctionne sur la base d'un don. Prenez ce qui vous plaît, donnez ce que vous pouvez.
Tous les profits serviront directement à acheter des ressources pour nos programmes et de nouveaux livres pour nos rayons !

D'autres livres viendront s'ajouter à notre vente tout au long du mois, alors revenez régulièrement. Nous acceptons également les dons de livres d'occasion pour enrichir notre vente, alors pensez à nous si vous faites votre grand ménage de printemps !

It is with sad hearts that we announce that we will be losing our wonderful Library Manager Jeff, we feel very thankful for the 3 great years that he had here.
To celebrate the library is having an open house tomorrow, Thursday May 28th, from 1-5pm and 6-8pm. Please stop by at any point to wish Jeff all the best as he moves on to his next adventure, and to grab a slice of cake too!
Thank you Jeff, you will be missed!

C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le départ de Jeff, notre formidable responsable de bibliothèque. Nous lui sommes très reconnaissants pour les trois merveilleuses années qu'il a passées parmi nous. Pour marquer l'occasion, la bibliothèque organise une journée portes ouvertes demain, jeudi 28 mai, de 13 h à 17 h et de 18 h à 20 h. N'hésitez pas à passer à tout moment pour souhaiter bonne chance à Jeff alors qu'il se lance dans sa nouvelle aventure, et pour déguster une part de gâteau ! Merci Jeff, tu vas nous manquer !

Did you know that around 750,000 school-aged Canadians (and up to 5 million adults) have dyslexia? And did you know we have a small but growing collection of dyslexia-friendly books (in both English and French) at the library? Come check them out!

Need to get away from it all? Starting May 15th, you can explore the natural beauty of New Brunswick with a Provincial Parks Day Pass from your local public library!

From May 15 to October 11, 2026, you can borrow a pass which gives you one day’s admission to an NB Park of your choosing – for free! All you need is a library card.

You can select from one of the following parks:
Fundy Trail Provincial Park
Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park
Mt. Carleton Provincial Park
Murray Beach Provincial Park
New River Beach Provincial Park
Parlee Beach Provincial Park

There are only 500 passes available per day, and they must be used within 3 days of when they were borrowed. Contact the library to learn more.

Du 15 mai au 11 octobre 2026, vous pouvez emprunter un laissez-passer qui vous donne accès pour une journée à un parc du Nouveau-Brunswick de votre choix – gratuitement ! Tout ce dont vous avez besoin est une carte de bibliothèque.

Vous pouvez choisir parmi l'un des parcs suivants :

Sadly, children and youth across Canada are sexually victimized every day. We now have resources at our library from the Canadian Centre for Child Protection, for children and adults, about preventing and responding to sexual abuse.

Malheureusement, partout au Canada, des enfants et des jeunes sont victimes d'abus sexuels chaque jour. Notre bibliothèque propose désormais des ressources du Centre canadien de protection de l'enfance, destinées aux enfants et aux adultes, sur la prévention et la gestion des abus sexuels.
