June in Bloom - A Summer Gardening Workshop with Wendy Wagner

Highlights include:
- How to make your garden pollinator friendly
- General garden guidance & care for newly acquired perennials, shrubs & trees. Before and after transplanting.
- Fertilizer NPK explained. What to use and when.
- Growing vegetables in pots and fish pans.
- Q & A

1-2pm
Honey Bee Observation Hive Display & Bee-themed activities for kids

Experience the wonder of honey bees close up with our live honey bee observation hive. Try to spot the queen bee! Learn interesting facts about pollinators and NL honey bees.
Fun bee-themed activities for kids.

All are welcome! No registration required. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by a caregiver.

The Harbour Grace Public Library was pleased to welcome local author Hayward C Blake for a reading and discussion of his book "Outport Woman: Life on the Ocean’s Edge" on Wednesday, June 17th. Our library patrons had a wonderful evening with Mr. Blake. Thank you for joining us!

📚 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who lent us a hand in organizing our Annual Book Sale Fundraiser! We are so grateful to the many wonderful folks who donated books, DVDs, CDs, games, plants, and their time to our event.
