Today Alberta said goodbye to the Carbon Tax.

The carbon tax is now officially history.

The Lieutenant Governor gave Royal Assent to Bill 1, The Carbon Tax Repeal Act, at 12:10 PM.

Promise made. Promise kept.

Horner isn’t counting his chickens before they hatch, but said he was “humbled and honoured” that the polls appeared to give him a landslide victory in the Drumheller-Stettler riding.
