Last night around 9:30 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire on Dofred Road in Rothesay.

Crews arrived to find a garage on fire, with the fire threatening a nearby home. Firefighters quickly attacked the fire and protected the home from further damage.

Thanks to our mutual aid partners Saint John Firefighters, Hampton Fire Rescue, Simonds Fire Rescue and Nauwigewauk Fire Department.

On Friday, May 22, at approximately 8 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire in the 300 block of Hampton Road in Quispamsis.

Firefighters arrived to find a working fire. Despite an early and aggressive interior attack, the home sustained significant damage. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Thank you to our mutual aid partners Kennebecasis Regional Police Force, and Hampton Fire Rescue for their assistance.
