Please note that ORGANICS AND RECYCLING must be placed at the curb today, SATURDAY, NOV. 8TH - due to Tuesday being Remembrance Day. Waste collection will not happen on Tuesday due to the Remembrance Day holiday.

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents of the following municipal program and service level adjustments for Remembrance Day on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

The Association was alarmed to see that Halifax.ca had a notice on its waste management tool page accusing Uplands Park residents of not correctly disposing of food waste. The notification below appears when someone puts in an address that may not even be in Uplands Park. It appears that this notice is shared with those living in the Kingswood/Uplands Park and surrounding areas. Blaming Uplands Park residents specifically is not accurate and inappropriate.
