Nkem Professional Homestay Services provides homes to students coming to Canada. We understand the time and effort it takes to effectively operate a homestay, as both students and hosts require special attention to satisfy their individual needs and with our professional services we are bridging the gap. We are here to assist in the comfort, security and stability of your child/children for the du
ration of their stay.Below is a brief introductionn to some of our services and accommodations. What sets Nkem Professional Homestay Services apart from any other homestay that is available? Your child/children’s success within their school is our top priority. We are involved in every step of their stay. We are there for support outside of the homestay family. We also provide other involvement above what the homestay family will provide (for more information please see what options we can provide)
Nkem Professional Homestay Services will also provide an email of progress reports monthly. Because you the parents are so far away we find it is important that you know your child will succeed within their schooling. Should your child face difficulty in a certain subject we will be in contact with you to arrange for any extra help that may be required. We can involve your child within the community with outings and entertainment such as trips to the library, day trips, and outings to the movies or local attractions. We can will also provide a local native dish for your child while at the homestay either weekly or biweekly based on the choice of the child and family. We also provide transportation to and from the airport upon arrival and departure as well as for any visiting family. We can also assist in locating appropriate hotel stay during any visit from family. Some of the accomidations provided from the homestay family will be:
- Bed, bedding, desk, dresser
- Meals with the family (breakfast lunch and dinner)
- Laundry options
- Wifi
