💙 We are beyond proud to congratulate our very own Mya, who spoke yesterday at the 29th Annual Neurobehavioural Rehabilitation in ABI Conference hosted by Hamilton Health Sciences.

Mya courageously shared her lived experience with brain injury, and her story moved many in the room to tears. Her honesty, strength, and resilience left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of listening.

This year, we were thrilled to welcome Mya to HBIA's Board of Directors, where she has already become an incredibly valued member of our team. She brings insight, compassion, determination, and a powerful survivor perspective to everything she does.

One of the messages that resonated most deeply from Mya's presentation was her commitment to turning "pain into power." Through her advocacy, leadership, and willingness to share her journey, she has done exactly that and so much more.

Thank you, Mya, for sharing your story, for helping others feel seen and understood, and for continuing to radiate joy, hope, and purpose through life's challenges. We are honoured to have you as part of the HBIA family.

Please join us in congratulating Mya!

Introducing our 2026 5K By the Bay t-shirt design, created by our very own survivor, Ember!

We are so proud to showcase Ember’s creativity and talent through this year’s beautiful design. It’s extra special knowing it was created by someone within our own ABI community.

Our t-shirt order has officially been placed, and while we always do our best to have shirts available for everyone in the correct size, registering early is the best way to ensure we have one set aside just for you.

✨ Secure your shirt while quantities last!

📲 Register through the link in our bio or search HBIA 5K By the Bay on Race Roster.
