COLLABORATION SPOTLIGHT ❤

Our New Choices (Grace Haven) team offers a weekly Wellness Group at Ellen Osler Home, supporting women’s reintegration and recovery through topics like self‑love, boundaries, and healthy relationships.

Open to residents and approved day‑pass participants from Grand Valley Institution, the group fosters connection, insight, and community in a safe, non‑judgmental space—and participant feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

Alongside this, facilitators Jill & Kelly (pictured!) also provide individual addiction counselling and are grateful to continue building this meaningful partnership at Ellen Osler Home.

We are The Salvation Army Hamilton Halton Brantford (HHB) Housing & Support Services, a collaborative network dedicated to providing safe shelter, housing, and wrap‑around supports across our communities.

Through programs like emergency shelters, correctional residential facilities, supportive housing, family resource services, and addiction supports, we walk alongside people on their journey toward stability and independence.

Together with our community partners, we are committed to hope, dignity, and building stronger futures for those we serve.

We’re not saying the renovation changed everything… but the desk has officially gone from “controlled chaos” to “we might actually know where things are.”

Huge thank you to the Property Team for overseeing the overhaul of the front desk at the Hamilton Booth Centre--what a difference!

The new setup is cleaner, calmer, and puts us in a much better position to support clients.

Grateful to the Ancaster "Knit4Need" group for blessing us with another batch of wonderful hand knit blankets and other cold weather items that will extra provide warmth to our soup van patrons and in-house residents!
