Huge thank you to everyone who came out to our Textile Donation Event on May 9 at the Dundas Community Recycling Centre in partnership with The Salvation Army Thrift Store - Canada!

Together, the Hamilton community donated over 2,268 kilograms of textiles — helping give unwanted clothing and fabrics a second life while keeping them out of the landfill.

Events like this show how small actions can make a big impact when a community comes together.

Warmer weather is here, and Hamilton is coming back to life! Let’s help keep our community clean and beautiful by remembering to:

- Double-bag pet waste using plastic bags and then put it in the garbage. Don’t leave it on the ground and never throw it down a storm drain!

- When you’re outside, make sure to throw litter in a bin or hold on to it until you can. Please don’t litter!

By keeping Hamilton clean, you’re helping create a cleaner home for yourself and the neighbours you share it with.
