EWB McMaster GE Team Global Engineering and Curriculum Enhancement

Global Engineering involves a group of bright students that have banded together to examine the state of the engineering curriculum, and have together decided that a change, however small it may be, is needed to create a positive shift from exceptional thinkers to exceptional global thinkers. Curriculum Enhancement is an exciting program and has the capacity to be one of EWB's highest impact Canad

ian Programs. Through this program, EWB members try to influence the undergraduate engineering curriculum in a positive, pro-development way. Some of the goals of curriculum enhancement include:
- Increasing global citizenship amongst engineers: exploring the connections between their profession and its effects on society, both locally and internationally;
- Creating a new generation of engineers who are more aware of and caring about international development and global issues;
- Introducing engineering students to concepts such as social responsibility, human development, and appropriate technology. If you'd like to be part of the team feel free to contact:
