Sometimes the break down of a relationship is really a break down in communication.

Maybe you feel like you’re not being heard, or maybe as if your feelings aren’t important to your partner. Maybe you feel as though you are no longer in love with your significant other, but you still love them.

If this feels like a situation you may be dealing with, consider couples/marriage therapy.

Learn to communicate your needs and to listen to your partners needs. Remember why you fell in love with them, get to know the people you are both growing into and learn to grow together.

A loving home is worth saving.

If this sounds like you, give me a call, shoot me a message and let me help you find someone that can assist you to reignite the spark in your relationship. Don’t let your love be “the one that got away”

Neil Stonechild was just 17 years old when he was found deceased from hypothermia after being left in an underdeveloped portion of Saskatoon in late November 1990.
Stonechild was a Bantam weight Provincial champion westler, a young man who had plans on creating a bright future for himself when he was arrested by police on the night of November 24th 1990. A friend reported that Neil was yelling for help saying “they’re going to kill me” referring to the police officers that had put him in their cruiser. On November 29th 1990 Neils lifeless body was found, missing a shoe in the frigid cold of the Saskatoon winter. Temperatures had reached up -28°c and he succumbed to hypothermia in field on the outskirts of the city.
Neil’s death sparked outrage in the Indigenous community across Canada. He was a household name in the 1990’s and Indigenous leaders demanded an inquiry into his death. Rumours of a “game” being played with Indigenous men’s lives became front page news as the inquiry uncovered the “starlight tours” where police officers would pick up indigenous men in the freezing winter nights and drop them off outside of the city limits and make them walk back ill equipped for the biting cold and tough terrain.
The officers involved in Neil’s death were subsequently fired, they appealed the decision but their termination was upheld. They were charged in the death of 17 year old Neil Stonechild.
