It's ! Today is all about celebrating our Volunteer Coordinator: Irvana!

If the plants in our furniture office are looking exceptionally green and happy, you can thank her.

Irvana spends her days handling volunteer intake, organizing volunteer schedules and making sure our food bank has enough extra hands to run smoothly. She's the definition of proactive and not one to stay behind a desk if there’s work to be done.

Irvana is always the first to jump in and fill gaps whenever the food bank is short-staffed. We're very happy to have her on our team.

Interested in joining Irvana’s volunteer team? Email her at [email protected].

Today for , we’re featuring our Furniture Bank Coordinator, Megan Paquette.

Megan handles one of the busiest roles at Parker Street. From managing a high volume of calls to tracking every sofa and table in our inventory, she is the primary point of contact for families looking to furnish their homes.

While her role requires managing complex logistics and paperwork, Megan is best known for her compassion. She always has a smile for our clients and brings a steady, kind presence to those navigating the furniture program. Alongside Olu, she coordinates logistics of pick-up and delivery, so every piece gets to its new home with a family or our thrift stores in Woodlawn and Spryfield safely.
