Congrats to all that harvested deer and bear during the past hunting season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all from the Big Game Society of NS. There were a lot of nice bucks harvested this year, don't forget to support our Booth at the AOS&RV Show, would like to see some of those to come in and get scored.

Recreational Fishing Advisory Council (RFAC) meetings are an annual open forum to hear from Inland Fisheries staff, and to provide participants with the opportunity to speak about local, regional or provincial issues that are important to them. You have a vast knowledge of the sportfishery in your area, and your input and recommendations are valuable. This year, RFAC meetings will continue to be held virtually and share the same agenda.

Topics covered during the meeting will include updates from Department staff on interesting and important projects and programs such as: Growing the Sportfish Industry, Fisheries Enhancement (stocking), Resource Management activities, regulations and much more.

This will be an opportunity for meeting participants to discuss all things related to Nova Scotia and the recreational sportfishery.

A reminder email and more detailed agenda will be provided closer to the meeting dates.
