What a milestone. What a celebration. What an incredible moment for our industry, our community, and our government partners whose support helped make this vision possible. 🎉
The new Cape Breton Trades Exhibition Centre will be the second of its kind in the province, complementing the Trades Exhibition Hall in Halifax and helping youth and job seekers discover the skilled trades and the many rewarding career opportunities they offer. 🏗️
The facility will also include classroom space for apprenticeship training and an on-site testing centre, providing apprentices with the resources they need to complete their exams and continue advancing their careers.
A sincere thank you to Minister Nolan Young, Minister Fred Tilley, Minister Brian Comer, our MLAs, government officials, and all of our government partners. Your commitment helped make this important project possible, and we are grateful for your investment in our industry and our community. 🤝
To all of our industry partners, thank you for your leadership, collaboration, and continued commitment to the skilled trades.
To our community partners, thank you for standing with us and helping bring this vision to life. Your involvement will help create lasting opportunities for our community. ❤️
And thank you to everyone who joined us for the BBQ and celebration. Having so many partners and supporters, there made the occasion even more meaningful. 🎉
This announcement is an important part of the Construction Industry Supports Initiative, and we are incredibly grateful to our CIS Committee for being such dedicated and valued partners throughout this journey.
