🌍 **Leading Through Complexity: The Power of Systems Thinking**

Today's sustainability challenges don't have simple solutions. They require us to see the bigger picture, understand interconnected systems, and collaborate across sectors to create meaningful, lasting change.

Join us for an inspiring **Lunch & Learn** with **Mita**, Sustainability Consultant, Facilitator, and Keynote Speaker, as she explores how **systems thinking** can help leaders navigate complexity and design solutions that address root causes—not just symptoms.

Join PMI Nova Scotia in Margaretsville for a special event combining our Western Region Community Connect and Social Good Initiatives.

The event provides an opportunity for PMI members and project professionals from Western Nova Scotia to meet, build local connections, and engage with the PMI Nova Scotia community while giving back through a shoreline cleanup.

Located along the Bay of Fundy, Margaretsville is known for its dramatic tides, rocky shoreline, and historic lighthouse. Together, we will help remove marine litter and storm-drifted waste from the shoreline surrounding Margaretsville Lighthouse and Beach.

Whether you are an active PMI Nova Scotia member, new to the Chapter, or interested in connecting with project professionals in Western Nova Scotia, we invite you to join us for a meaningful day of regional connection and positive community impact.



Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026

Time: 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Low tide: Approximately 12:50 p.m.

Location: Margaretsville Lighthouse & Beach, 13 Lighthouse Road, Margaretsville, NS B0S 1N0

Supplies Provided
Gloves, garbage bags, safety vests, and light refreshments will be provided on-site.

Participants should wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear and clothing appropriate for the weather and rocky shoreline. Children must remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

Additional meeting, parking, safety, and weather-related instructions will be shared with registered participants before the event.
