BBQ Season is back!👏🌟 A big thank you to the team at KPMG for supporting the first BBQ of the season. We are so thankful for your help today, grilling the burgers and hot dogs, serving our members, and bringing positive energy into our centre!

Then, we enjoyed a performance from the Two Houses Theatre Company; our in-house theatre group. As always, the cast put on an excellent performance, written and directed by our very own Mark DeWolf. 😊

Wellness Wednesdays in June! 🩵
Join us for a full day of Wellness here at Spencer House.
Breakfast begins at 9am, then we have Chair Fitness at 10:30am. In the afternoon, join us for a presentation, listed in the picture above. Also, our Senior's Navigator will be on-site each Wednesday to meet with you!

Our TV Travel Program brought us to El Salvador today! Our Market Coordinator, Adriana, is of Salvadoran heritage and helped us make traditional Pupusas, Salsa, and Pickled Veggies for lunch. We learned about the country & culture, and finished the day with a concert from Health Arts Society of Atlantic Canada Concert's In Care: The Three Amigos!

Did you know? 👏 Spencer House offers a continental breakfast every weekday from 9:00–10:00AM, along with a special hot breakfast once a month. These mornings not only about food, they are about starting the day together in community!

Programs like these are made possible through the generosity of supporters like The Halifax Assistance Fund and community volunteers who give their time so generously.🩵

A big thank you to the volunteers from TD Insurance who helped serve up a delicious hot breakfast at Spencer House this morning!
