Spaces are still available in the ARTISTS IN ACTION programs on Saturdays at Chocolate Lake Recreation Centre. Each week will feature new projects that utilize a variety of art mediums. Children will paint, draw, colour, build and paste as they explore their creative side. All supplies are provided.

Spaces are still available in the Inclusive and Adapted Bronze Medallion, Cross and National Lifeguard course being held at the Sackville Sports Stadium.

Lifesaving course for candidates working towards either Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, or National Lifeguard certification. This course is for candidates who are looking to become lifeguards but have increased difficulty learning in a large group setting and require more time to learn skills and understand course material. Course will continue into the Winter season and beyond for anyone who requires additional time to achieve the certifications.

Candidates will be in a small group with an instructor who works with them at their own pace. Candidates will work on the skills for each level until they are ready for the exam.

Starts: September 27, 2026
Time: Sundays 1:15-4:15pm
Cost: $24 for books, course is free
