We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Dysart et al Mayor Murray Fearrey on May 28th, 2026.
Murray served our community with dedication, compassion and integrity. Throughout his time in office, which spans back to 1971, he worked tirelessly to support the residents of our community at both the Dysart et al and County Council tables.
On behalf of Council and municipal staff, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Donna McCallum and the rest of his family, friends, colleagues, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside our Mayor.
Murrayโ€™s leadership, commitment, and presence will be greatly missed throughout the municipality and beyond.
Municipal flags have been lowered to half-mast in honour of Mayor Fearrey.
His family created a website in honour of his long history of community service that details many of the contributions that he made during his lifetime. https://murrayfearrey.manus.space
Rest in peace Murray

This week, weโ€™re recognizing the incredible dedication of paramedics across our communities during Paramedics Week. ๐Ÿš‘๐Ÿ’™

This yearโ€™s theme, โ€œImproving Outcomes, Together,โ€ highlights the teamwork, compassion, and commitment paramedics bring every single day. From emergency response to patient care, they make a difference when it matters most.

Moose FM sends a huge THANK YOU to all paramedics for your courage, professionalism, and life-saving care. ๐Ÿ‘

If you know or see a paramedic in our community this week, take a moment to thank them for everything they do โ€” your kind words can mean more than you know. ๐Ÿ’™

Dear Community,

Thank you for your continued patience as we renovate our Emergency Department to serve you better! Things are coming along nicely and should be ready in the next few weeks.

As we get closer to the upcoming long weekend, please be reminded that you have several options for care as our community gets a little busier. As always, if you are experiencing an emergency, please call 9-1-1. If your health concern is a little less urgent, please consider visiting our Urgent Care Clinic in Minden or visit https://www.getmaple.ca for virtual care.

Please also be reminded that when visiting the Emergency Department, patients with the most emergent needs are seen first.
HHHS uses the CTAS system, which stands for the Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale. It is a 5-level, validated triage system used in hospital emergency departments to prioritize patient care based on the severity of their illness or injury, ensuring those needing immediate life-saving care are seen first.

Have a safe and fun long weekend!
