Today is the day! Tickets go on sale for "The Final Encore". See attached poster for the event details! Be a part of history at the first evening event at the Hagersville Library & Active Living Centre! We look forward to celebrating with you! 💃🕺

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
* Ticket sales begin today at 9:00 AM sharp, not before!
* Ticket requests are by email. Limit of four tickets per email address. Send request to [email protected]
* Tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis as the requests come to our email AFTER 9AM.
* Tickets are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from us. Payment information will be included with your confirmation email.
* Tickets will be issued once payment is made.
* We will create a wait-list if necessary.
* This is a 19+ event (Age of Majority)
* We will be asking for the names of attendees in your party when you get the confirmation email.
* The tables seat 8 people each, you do not have to fill a table. You may indicate who you would like to be seated with, and we will do our best to accommodate that request.
* We reserve the right to make any adjustments necessary.

🚒 Hagersville Firefighters Out Supporting Muscular Dystrophy! 💛

Tomorrow morning, our Hagersville firefighters will be out in the community for their annual Muscular Dystrophy Boot Toll — a long-standing tradition that helps support Canadians living with MD and their families.

If you’re passing through Hagersville, please take a moment to stop, and show your support. Every donation, big or small, makes a meaningful difference.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, we’re thankful for our community’s continued support and for the privilege of serving Hagersville year-round.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving filled with good food, laughter, and time with the people who matter most.

Please remember if you’re cooking this weekend, stay fire safe: never leave your stove unattended, keep kids and pets clear of hot surfaces, and make sure smoke alarms are working.

Our members are out today promoting fire prevention week 2025!

we’re proud to support the 2025 Fire Prevention Week theme: “Charge Into Fire Safety: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home.”

Lithium-ion batteries power so many devices we use every day — from phones and laptops to e-bikes and power tools. But if used, charged, or discarded improperly, they can pose serious fire risks.

To help keep our community safe, here’s how to Take CHARGE:

C – Choose certified products.
Look for safety markings like UL, ETL, or CSA when buying devices or batteries.

H – Handle with care.
Use manufacturer-approved chargers and cables. Avoid using damaged or swollen batteries or chargers.

A – Always monitor charging.
Charge on hard, non-flammable surfaces (not on beds or couches). Don’t overcharge or leave devices charging unattended for long periods.

R – Recycle battery safely.
Never throw lithium-ion batteries in regular garbage or standard recycling bins — they may short-circuit. Use designated battery drop-off or recycling locations.

G – Get out fast in a fire.
Have a home escape plan with two exits from every room. Practice it regularly with your family.

E – Educate others.
Share these safety tips with friends, neighbours, and younger family members to help prevent fires caused by batteries.

We are so proud to be able to give this donation. This was made possible because the community behind us is simply the best. Thank you for helping us support our community.

The Hagersville Firefighters Association has donated $15,000 to the Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice in development for Jarvis. They have issued an official challenge to all other firefighters, police, and paramedics across the county to follow suit with their own fundraising efforts for the much needed and desired community facility.
