Important Notice for Multi-Unit Residential Building Owners

Saskatchewan has introduced new carbon monoxide alarm requirements under Henry’s Law.

Owners of multi-unit residential buildings, including apartments, condos, motels, hotels, boarding houses, rooming houses, dormitories, and other buildings with multiple residential suites, must comply by November 1, 2026.

Each suite must have at least one carbon monoxide alarm installed. Smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms must also be maintained, tested, and replaced as required.

Carbon monoxide is invisible, odourless, tasteless, and can be deadly. Please make sure your building is properly equipped.

SUMMER PLAY SCHEDULE
Gull Lake RAC has some fun summer programming planned for kids entering kindergarten to grade 6!

The Summer Play Program will run Mondays - Thursdays from 1 -4PM each day.
Online registration for each session will open up one week in advance on the Town of Gull Lake page (Registration starting Monday, June 22nd.)

Drop-off and pick-up at Whitecap Swimming Pool
Cost: $5/day, thanks to the CIF Funding

The Town of Gull Lake, R.M. of Carmichael No. 109, R.M. of Webb No. 138, and the R.M. of Gull Lake No. 139 are working together to support the X-Ray Machine Upgrade project.

We are looking for six community members to join a Fundraising Health Committee and help move this important project forward.

This is a great opportunity to support local health care and help strengthen services for residents across our region.

UPDATE: ROAD NOW OPEN

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧

Please be advised that a portion of South Adlem Road will be closed starting Monday, May 4, for repair work.

👉 Closure Details:
• From Township Road 130 (Boundary Road)
• North to the Richardson Pioneer Terminal entrance

🚜 Access:
• The Richardson Pioneer Terminal will remain accessible from Highway #1 only
• No access will be permitted from the south during this closure

🚧 Repairs will begin Monday morning.

⚠️ STRYCHNINE TRAINING REQUIREMENT – IMPORTANT NOTICE ⚠️

The Province has introduced a new program for the purchase and use of strychnine for rodent control.

🚨 Training is REQUIRED to purchase strychnine 🚨

👉 Training Dates:
May 4 to August 1, 2026

All farmers and producers must complete the required training during this period in order to be eligible to purchase strychnine.

👉 What this means:
• You must be trained and certified before purchasing
• Proof of certification will be required at the time of sale

👉 For our office:
• We are not permitted to sell strychnine to anyone who has not completed the required training
• Certification must be verified before purchase
