Sea Cadets is a free program for youth between 12-18 years. Fun, engaging and full of opportunities! RCSCC AJAX also has an active (optional) music program.

Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps AJAX is a youth organization in the City of Guelph, and part of a the Canadian Cadet Organization working in communities from coast to coast. General Information

Sea Cadets learn sailing skills and seamanship skills (knots, ropework, naval communications), power boat handling, leadership, instructional technique, and teamwork. For any cadet that has the desire and d

edication to participate in the band, we will provide music instruction. The Guelph Sea Cadets also participate in parades, ceremonial events and citizenship activities connected to our local and Canadian naval heritage. We meet for regular training Wednesday evenings form 6:30pm – 9:30pm (1830 – 2130)

There are weekend activities scheduled throughout the year from September to June including a sail weekend, nautical themed weekend, and 4 training days. There is no cost to join, and uniforms are provided. Our Generous Supporters

We have some great news to share!!

Today, our Marksmanship team competed at RCSU Central's Zone 5 Competition, which they have been prepping for all year.

Ajax placed 3rd as a team and LC Felvinti took home 1st place 🥇in the junior individual category and 4th place overall.

Congratulations team!!! We are so proud of you!

Happy New Year, Ajax cadets, friends and family! We’re so happy to have everyone back, and we’re kicking off 2026 strong.

Today, the cadets participated in one of the many facets of Sea Cadet training… Seamanship!

This includes things like knot tying, sheers, sea quiz, and more.

Promotions, levels, service medals, oh my!

Tonight, RCSCC Ajax’s cadets, staff and parents had the very first Ceremonial Divisions of the 2025/2026 training year!

Several of our cadets received promotions, and both our staff cadets and adult staff members received service medals for their time in the cadet program.

And last but not least, it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our current Coxswain, CPO1 Marin. Thank you for everything, and we wish you the best on whatever is next!

This past Friday, October 3rd, a few of our Sea Cadets attended the flag-raising ceremony at City Hall for Cadet Week! It’s a celebration of what the Cadet program represents and its investment in our youth.
