Municipal Law Enforcement Officers' Association of Ontario This broad coverage provides members with an interesting diversity of experiences to draw up Act 1997 which, received Roayl Assent on July 21, 1997.

The Municipal Law Enforcement Officers' Association represents over 250 municipalities and 2200 individual officers throughout the Province of Ontario and abroad. The MLEOA is the only organization and governing body authorized to issue certification to Municipal Law Enforcement Officers in Ontario. This authorization was granted through Bill Pr83, Municipal Law Enforcement Officers' Association (Ontario)

We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Toronto Police Officer, Constable Marc Pinizzotto, who gave his life in the line of duty.

On behalf of the MLEOA, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Pinizzotto family, friends, colleagues, and the entire Toronto Police Service community. We also recognize the profound impact this loss has on all members of the law enforcement and public safety community across Ontario.

We honour Constable Pinizzotto's service, courage, and dedication to protecting others. Our thoughts are will all those grieving this devastating loss.

We are deeply sadden by the loss of an Ontario Provincial Police Officer who gave their life in the line of duty. Before serving with the OPP, Constable Tarun Bali also served as a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer and a member of the MLEOA.
