Do you have a favourite memory of the Main Library?

Maybe it was receiving your very first Library card, discovering a favourite book, attending a beloved program, meeting a helpful staff member, or pulling off a marathon study session before a big exam.

As we prepare to say farewell to the Main Library and look ahead to the new Central Library, we want to invite you to help preserve its story for future generations.

Visit the Westminster Square Branch Makerspace, where our staff will help you share and record your memories, reflections, and personal stories about the Main Library. These recordings will become part of a new time capsule that will be installed at the New Central Library, ensuring today’s memories can be discovered and celebrated for years to come.
