Did you know GSPL’s Local History collection was started by Mary C. Shantz, who served as head of the Sudbury Public Library Reference Department from 1966 to 1984? In recognition of her work, the original room housing the collection was named in her honour in 1986...
Le saviez-vous? La collection Histoire locale de la BPGS a été fondée par Mary C. Shantz, qui a dirigé le département des ouvrages de référence de la Bibliothèque publique de Sudbury de 1966 à 1984. En reconnaissance de son travail, la salle qui abritait originalement cette collection a été nommée d’après elle en 1986.
