Our Immigrant Services team has been out and about, participating in several community events across Sudbury. Yesterday, we joined the Laurentian Community Fair, and today we’re at the Cambrian Community Fair! 🎉
We also had the opportunity to connect with the community at Better Beginnings, Better Futures during their food bank. You can find us there every Wednesday, together with our Employment Services team, connecting with community members and sharing information about the services and support available. 🤝
It’s always wonderful to see familiar faces, reconnect with former clients, meet new ones, and connect with other organizations in our community.
And we’re not done yet! ⚽🌎
This Sunday, we’ll be at the Sudbury Community (World) Cup at the James Jerome Sports Complex starting at 9:00 a.m.! This event organized by the Greater Sudbury Police has free admission, so come enjoy this exciting community experience, watch some soccer, and stop by to say hello to our team! 🙌⚽

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, plus one Saturday per month
Requirements:
Fluent bilingualism in English and French is required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Previous call centre, data entry, healthcare, or related experience is an asset
Strong computer and data entry skills

On August 14, our SWIS team spent a wonderful day at Nepahwin Beach with our newcomer families! 🌊💙

The day was filled with fun games, friendly competitions, conversations, laughter, and lots of great moments together. It was a beautiful opportunity to connect, build community, and enjoy the summer together. 🌞🏐🎉

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special! We loved seeing everyone having fun and creating new memories together. 💛
