We are delighted to introduce Lindsey Dumont, a talented actress and model joining us for Spark's 40th Anniversary Celebration.

Born and raised in , Ontario, Lindsey is only 20 years old and already deeply committed to giving back to her community. She believes strongly in the importance of community involvement, and considers it an honour to be part of this milestone cast.

In her own words:
"I am honoured to be part of Spark's 40th anniversary cast. I look forward to working with my fellow cast members and am excited to help bring Spark's story to life!"

We are honored to introduce Alexis Lamontagne, one of the talented performers joining us for Spark's 40th Anniversary Celebration.

Alexis brings a wealth of experience to this milestone production, having previously performed in productions with Yes Theatre. Her dedication to her craft, along with her commitment to supporting emerging artists, makes her a wonderful addition to our cast.

"I am thrilled to be a part of Spark's 40th Anniversary Celebration since it's a very unique experience that allows me to work with new artists, all while showing people that they can be whoever they want."

🎭 INTRODUCING OUR CAST: Chantal Makela

Some stories are written. Others are lived.

Meet Chantal Makela, a dynamic, community-rooted leader and the visionary behind this very special anniversary production.

As CEO of and , Chantal has spent her career believing in the power of people, possibility, and community. Known for her visionary leadership, strategic thinking, and commitment to empowerment, she is always looking for new ways to help people, and organizations, grow.

So when it came time to celebrate 40 years of Spark Employment Services, Chantal had an idea: Why not tell the story in a way that brings it to life?

And so, this play was born.

Inspired by the true journey of Spark over the past four decades, this production is more than a celebration of where we've been. It's a reminder of what it takes to keep moving forward: to expand, to learn, to take risks, to try something new, and, most importantly, to find joy along the way.

In many ways, the journey of creating this play has mirrored the very journey we encourage job seekers to take every day.

Try something new.
Take a chance on yourself.
Learn as you go.
Step outside your comfort zone.
And don't forget to have a little fun along the way.

Chantal may have had the vision, but bringing this story to the stage has become a journey shared by many.

MEET OUR WRITER: SIMON-RYS LANDRY ✍️🎭

Every great story starts with a question.

For Clocking In!, theatre writer Simon-Rys Landry is helping bring 40 years of Spark’s stories, people and memories to the stage.

A theatre artist from Sudbury, Simon-Rys is an actor, musician and theatre writer and a recent graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Theatre Department. His work explores the stories we carry with us and how collective memory, nostalgia and lived experiences shape who we are.

Now, he’s bringing that perspective home to Sudbury to help tell Spark’s story across four decades.

MEET OUR DIRECTOR: Pandora Topp 🎭✨

For our 40th anniversary celebration, Clocking In!, we’re proud to have Pandora Topp bringing her creativity, passion and storytelling to the stage.

A bilingual, multidisciplinary artist, educator and entrepreneur from Sudbury, Pandora has spent 28 years working across theatre, television, film and music. She has created and toured numerous productions, including her celebrated tribute to Édith Piaf, while mentoring artists, educators and students across Canada and internationally.

Her work has earned her numerous honors, including the Jackie Washington Award, an Ontario Arts Foundation Artist-Educator nomination, and most recently, the Sudbury Celebration of the Arts Award for Excellence in the Arts.

Now, she’s bringing her years of storytelling and artistic experience to Clocking In! as we celebrate 40 years of Spark, the people who make our community stronger, and the stories that connect us.
