Our new chimney!! It blends in very nicely. It only cost $3000.00 plus tax! Thank you to all those generous folks who have contributed money, time and energy to keep the old house the amazing place that it is.

Community Breakfast, June 29th at 9am at the Great Village Legion. The Preservation Society is sponsoring this community breakfast to bring everyone up to date on the St. James church building - what's happening now and in the future. We want to hear your thoughts and idea. Remember the society is made up of community members like you who want to see this beautiful old building stay in our community. Looking forward to seeing you on June 29th!

The St. James Church of Gt. Village Preservation Society received a historical award from the Colchester Historium. We were nominated by the County of Colchester because of our restoration of the Elizabeth Bishop House as an artist retreat.
