We were so fortunate yesterday to have a lovely visit from the IODE Headwaters IODE Headwaters . The lovely ladies were so gracious to donate a copy of Iggy Included, one of the books shortlisted for the IODE Violet Downey Book Award to our collection. We are almost ready! Our doors will open tomorrow morning at 8:30am for our Book Sale! So if you are out and about in town grabbing plants and great second hand deals, don't forget to stop by to fill a bag for a donation of your choice! All proceeds go right back to our library. See you tomorrow!

We have a little secret to finally share! Look what arrived in our library?!? We are so fortunate to have been approached by the Grand Valley Ontario Food Bank to house a cold storage vending machine right here in our library. It’s open when we are! All selections are only 25 cents and this resource is for everyone regardless of the incredible price! Great things are happening at the library so make sure to come and check it out!

The sun is out and I bet you are thinking about a Patio! Well we are so excited to announce that Pages, Pints and Patios, our incredible Patio Book Club will be back this summer! Thank you so much to our friends River Chop House for partnering with us again!
So you ask, what is Patio Book Club? Well read great books, come and chat about them on the patio and have a fabulous meal or beverage....it is just so easy, and fun! Books will arrive approximately one month before the date to the library, and are first come, first serve. All you need is a library card, which are completely free and open to anyone, no matter your address. So keep your eye out for our social media post when our first book set is in! See you on the Patio.

Did you know that the Grand Valley Public Library offers free menstrual products? We don't think anyone should have to worry about ensuring they have an adequate supply of products, so with the generous help of Grand Valley Drug Store both of our washrooms are stocked with supplies for anyone who needs them. Take what you need, and leave what you don't, it is that easy.
