September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries nationwide join together to remind parents, caregivers and students that signing up for a library card is the first step towards academic achievement and lifelong learning.

The library will be closing an hour earlier tomorrow at 3:30 instead of 4:30, with regular hours continuing with Candace on the following Monday. Tomorrow will be my last day before I move back to Alberta and Candace resumes full time hours, thank you everyone for an incredible summer, onto the next adventure!

Next week at the Grand Bank Library, our next story time theme is All About Animals! Come join us on Tuesday, August 11 from 10-11:30am for fun stories and painting rocks to add to Rocksy!

Our first Story Time in Grand Bank was a success! The kids had lots of fun exploring all the new toys and made the coolest hot air balloons after reading "Oh the Places You'll Go"!

Story Time will be continuing here in Grand Bank until further notice, every Tuesday from 10-11:30am! Stay tuned for next weeks theme!
