GSCFD has had a busy stretch, with 5 calls between May 11 and 15.

We are proud of the dedication our members have shown and grateful to be part of a community that makes it possible to have a team like this. We ran some quick numbers and our average attendance over this stretch has been 15.6 firefighters per call. We’re really pleased with the turnout and response times we’ve been able to provide.

The support we receive from the community is what drives our members to perform the way they do, and the kind words this past week have not gone unnoticed. Thank you.

We’d also like to give a nod to the hydro crews who have been working hard through this busy period. Stay safe out there.

To everyone in our community, we hope you have a safe and happy May long weekend.
